eSafety Plenary Meetings

The main tasks of the eSafety Plenary Sessions are to discuss the selected topics on the basis of the Working Group reports, and to try to conclude with Forum Recommendations, which present consensus views on the implementation of the action in question.

eSafety Steering Group Meetings

The Forum organisation is managed by the Steering Group, which meets several times during the year. The Steering Group defines the work programme of the Forum as well as membership and guides the eSafety Support Office and Working Groups. The Steering Group does not formulate policy or make decisions for the Forum.

eSafety Observers Meetings

The Observers Group is a panel of EU Member State representatives which are invited to report on their national eSafety activities. Selected from the 25 EU Member States, the Observers are actively involved in national industry, policy, or

R&D activities and are acknowledged experts in their domain or sector.

The Observers will contribute information on national R&D programmes and activities and provide relevant details on national statistics and contacts.

eSafety Support is responsible for organising eSafety Observers Meetings at the EU and regional levels. The meetings at EU level bring together once a year representatives of all EU member states. Regional meetings take place around Europe and give the opportunity to two or more countries to meet and report on the latest eSafety developments in their countries.
